Editing & enhancement applications available on smart phones may be used on your photos. Applicants may submit a maximum of three photos. Only 60 photos will be chosen to be exhibited at Gallery Tilal. Photo size for printing will be provided upon photo approval. Please note that this is NOT a competition.

Win KD 500 by Protecting the Environment Q8

The Sultan Center is proud to announce the launch of our first photography contest to celebrate Earth Day. We encourage everyone to participate in the contest to promote sustainability, to protect the health of our ecosystem and to conserve our natural resource.

Share with us any photo that shows how you're helping to promote sustainability and get a chance to win a 500 KD voucher from Sultan Center.

Here are a few examples of photos you could share:

1- A picture of your reusable shopping bag.

2- Something related to fluorescent light bulbs.

3- Recycling bins at home.

Submissions should be sent to tsc@ghaliah.com. Please make sure that you write your full name and your phone number in the email.

Terms and conditions: 
- Each winner will get a voucher of 500 KD

- The Participation is limited to TSC's Facebook followers only.

- Only TSC's Facebook followers can vote in the contest.

- The first draw will be held on 18th of April and the second draw will be held on 29th of April.

-The first winner will be excluded from the second phase of the competition.

- Each participate can share only one photo.

- The winner will be determined by the number of votes AND the quality of the photo and its relevance to the subject of the contest.

- The Participants can pick whatever photography device they wish to use.

- The Participants have to take the pictures themselves.

- People can vote to as many pictures as they want. You can vote by "liking" the pictures.

- We will only count the likes on TSC's page.

- We encourage everyone to be respectful of the work of all participants. We will not allow any comments that show disrespect or bad taste to the participants.

- TSC has the right to eliminate any picture in cases of plagiarism. 

- The contest will commence on 9th of April and will end on 29th of April at 11 AM.

FotoTalks 2012 Q8

Inspired by TED (ideas.worth.spreading), fototalks is an annual event that sheds lights on photographers from Kuwait, Gulf Region, Middle East and the world, that worth to be noticed and recognized. fototalks’ mission is to empower photographers and expose them to be known and give them the chance to share the messages they capture through their eyes with others.

Apparently, it will be the biggest photography event in Kuwait, and it will include workshops, seminars and photography challenges.
