The variety of restaurants in Kuwait reflects its international nature. These restaurants does not represent Kuwaiti, English, Egyptian, Lebanese or Syrian kitchens, but they are include American, Hindi, Chinese, Thai and Italian kitchens. Each restaurant has its own flavor which refers to its nationality. In addition to dishes from all around the world, you can also be acquainted with the various cultures and traditions of these countries as if you are visiting a new country.
Another nice place you can plan your lunch or dinner in is Marina Thai. At Marina Thai they serve authentic Thai food. It is currently open only in Kuwait, but the company plans it to open in other places in the Middle East. Marina Thai was established in 1994 in Kuwait but grew to become the largest Thai Fast Food Chain in Kuwait.
You can find Marina Thai all around Kuwait.....@ Souq Sharq, @ Mahboulah, @ Souq Al Salmiah, @ Muhalab Center, @ Al Kout and @ Jabriya. I plan my dinner or lunch at their Souq Al Salmiah branch when I go for marketing at City Center.
Be it Pad Thai Chicken, Sen Mee Crystal Noodles, Special Mixed Rice, Ka Phad Kai Chicken Rice, Forever Chilli Shrimps, Shrimps Satay, Tom Yum Kong Soup and much more.......you are sure to enjoy every dish in their menu.
So try it out...you will surely love.

Gokul Restaurant,Q8
Hi everyone. I have been absconding for sometime from my blog. First it was Jeet who was away for 9days. It was me and my daughter...so lot of invitations from friends and both went out and had a ball of time. Then i got very busy preparing for my daughter's birthday and then again few personal things kept me very busy.
But i am back and will try to update my blog regularly. For my daughter's birthday party we ordered sweets and snacks from a newly opened vegetarian restaurant GOKUL at Abu Halifa block 1. Everybody loved them. Infact, during Jeets absence I ordered food from there and I just loved it. If you are missing the Chats, Bhels, Pav Bhaji's,Dosa's of India, then this is a nice place to visit. The special Gujrati thali they serve during the weekend is also a nice try. If you stay in Abu Halifa then they give free home delivery but you need to order minimum 2KD.
The following is the address....
Abu Halifa, Block1, Street 9
Building No 62,64
Phone 23717273

Kuwait Continental Hotel,Q8
Friday night, there was another b’day party. It was of another friend, Dr Rifat and Sharmista’s daughter Simran’s b’day.
They organized the party at “Gardenia Restaurant” of Kuwait Continental Hotel.
Situated at the lobby level, serving delicious Arabic and Continental cuisine in a relaxed garden setting, this place is a perfect place to hold get-togethers, anniversary parties and birthday parties.
Though I had visited the hotel before, for another birthday party of another friend’s daughter Shyamal and Missilu, this was the first time I attended any party at GARDENIA.
I loved the atmosphere and ambience. The food was very good (specially their “ dahi-bara” is well known.) The manager and the waiters are very helpful.
I needed few things for my baby, which they quickly and happily obliged. Shyamal and Missilu organised their daughter Ruhi’s birthday at the other restaurant of the hotel named “Darbar”. Situated on the top floor, with panoramic view, this restaurant serves exclusive Indian delicacies. The food is superb.
Centrally located, the huge five-star Kuwait Continental Hotel boasts of 86 guest accommodations. They have a separate banquet hall to hold business meetings and get-togethers. It is 15 minutes drive from the airport.

Caesars Restaurant, Fahaheel, Q8
Hi Everyone! How did the weekend go? For me Thursday and Friday, was fun. From Saturday, at home nursing my sore throat and cough. Had too much of ice cream on Thursday night, the result is this……haha.
Thursday evening went to Cearars restaurant @ Fahaheel to celebrate the birthday of our friend Abhijit da n Mouchumi’s twins Nupur N Runjun.
It was a well organized b’day party, and they had invited lot of friends. The hall was nicely decorated.
“Caesars” a much known name in GCC countries does not need any introduction. They are specialized in Indian, Chinese and Continental food and have a banquet hall. So birthday, marriage anniversaries, get-togethers etc are organized in the banquet hall opposite the restaurant. Thus their business is not affected. I have visited Caesars innumerable times, attending lot of parties.
The food is good and waiters are efficient and helpful. The best part is its location. Fahaheel, is a great place to shop. From small shops to malls, branded show rooms to fish market, it has everything. So if you have to do any marketing after or before the party, it’s not a problem. And if lucky enough, you might get a space for your car near the restaurant, otherwise at a little from it there is ample space to park your car.

Thakkar Restaurant, Q8
I was eagerly waiting for the weekend to go to Salmiya. Guess why? I wanted to have chat. And where can you find the perfect Indian taste in Kuwait, other than in Thakkar. It is a very popular fast food vegetarian Indian restaurant in Kuwait.During weekends there is so much rush that you will have to sit in your car or pack and bring home.I could not find a place to sit so decided to pack three varieties of chat and have them leisurely at home. The prices are reasonable and the quantity is satisfying. Next to Thakkar is another Indian fast food restaurant, Amman. The restaurants are in the Essa Al Katami Street, Salmiya.
