Our JORDAN Visit

To visit the beautiful and fascinating JORDAN was an instinctive decision. We had gone to India on the month of September and October 2011.We returned to Kuwait in the last week of October. It was Jeet's birthday on November 5th and I wanted to gift him a surprise. Every year from the time of our marriage, I gift him a surprise birthday party and few surprise gifts. Sometimes I plan it at my house, sometimes at a friends house, park or restaurant so that he does not get any idea about the party. Only after we arrive and other friends arrives and its time for the cake cutting ceremony, he gets to know about the party(that i have organised his birthday party). But this year I wanted to do something different. To plan any destination much before, that too just after returning from India was not favorable as Mehr always falls sick. But (touchwood) nothing of that sort happened and I started planning. I had a limited budget and very short time to do everything......check out and finalize the destination, make visa, book ticket, hotel accommodation, tour operator etc etc.
At first thought of Istanbul but prices of air tickets was just tooooo high....much more then my budget. JORDAN too was in my list and found it within my budget(slightly high then that I planned but it was OK with me).As everything was done at the last moment (just 2-3days) before we traveled to Jordan and also it was Eid holidays (peak tourist time) I had to pay more then the usual cost. But then it is fine if you plan it as an instinctive birthday gift for your dear husband .

It was a 4night 5days trip. We left Kuwait on early morning of November 5th and returned late night on 9th November. Of all the places I had visited till now, Jordan is the best place. A perfect mixture of history, beach's, nature, fun, adventure, leisure, religion and faith; I would suggest "Destination Jordan" to all of you. A visit you will surely enjoy and remember.

Our plan was something like this..........

Day 1..... Airport - City Tour  of Amman(Overnight @ Amman)

Day 2.....Madaba - Mount Nebo – Karak – The Kings highway - Dana – Petra (O/N Petra)

Day3......Petra tour.....Aqaba (O/N Aqaba)

Day 4..... Aqaba – Dead Sea ( O/N Dead Sea)

Day 5......Jerash – Ajloun.... Airport

Each and every place we visited has its own unique beauty. I would love to go again in future to this lovely country. Its not only the beauty but also the warm welcoming helpful nature of the Jordanians that will attract you. The people related to the travel and tourism business are so professional that you will always remember and feel at home in Jordan.

Do plan out a visit...........WILL  SURELY  ENJOY!
